Description
Waffee Street is a small dessert-and-coffee cafe tucked into Al Nasseriya, a pocket of Sharjah that is quietly becoming a destination for students and young families. The interior plays with a London-street theme - a red telephone booth at the entrance, framed posters, and a mix of banquette and counter seating that fills up quickly on weekend evenings. Parking is easy and free both in front of and behind the cafe. It works best as an afternoon pit stop for coffee and a shared sweet plate, or a casual late-night dessert run after dinner elsewhere.
The kitchen does two things with care: speciality coffee and loaded sweet plates. On the coffee side, the house Spanish latte and the Meraki pour-over are both worth ordering, and the barista team generally knows its craft. From the dessert menu, the waffle-and-pancake combo is the easiest introduction, offering mini pancakes in pistachio, kinder, and lotus alongside a mixed-chocolate waffle. Bubble waffles and crepes - particularly the dynamite crepe, with banana, lotus sauce, and white chocolate - tend to be the stronger plates, and the freakshake range, from a bubblegum-pink milkshake to a Nutty Shake, is built more for sharing and photography than for subtlety. There are no savoury mains to speak of; the menu is deliberately narrow.
Service is friendly and unhurried, and staff often walk guests through the menu with an iPad of photos for first-time visitors. Consistency on the waffles themselves is the main caveat: on quieter days they can land slightly underdone in the centre rather than crisp and airy, so it is worth asking for them well cooked. Pricing runs moderately above standard cafe norms, which is in step with its ambition. For a thoughtful coffee, a sweet plate built to share, or an Instagram-ready afternoon in Sharjah, it is a genuinely pleasant stop.

Visited this Gem of a cafe on Valentine's Day to satisfy our sweetooth cravings. This place is newly opened in sharjah and is quiet in the buzz for its waffles and crepes. Located at a new place which is well becoming another go to area for foodies, al nasseriya. It has lots of parking space available in front and behind the cafe. The interiors are very well-selected and put across the cafe. It's quiet a place for young people to hangout for some coffee and desserts. They have many portraits and quotes hung up in the cafe. They have a telephone booth which could well be used for clicking some photos by the time the food is ready. It's a very interesting place all in all. The staff is really friendly and welcoming. They are very attentive as well. It wasnt crowded when we visited so the service was really good. Dint have to wait much for desserts. Moving onto the desserts. We started our tasting with Dynamite Crepe which was of lotus flavour. To be honest I am not a lotus fan but the people along with me loved it. They ranked it the best one for the night. The crepe was very well made soft and not too sweet. The lotus spread was aptly spread. Made it looked very tempting. The next one was Pistachio+Kinder Waffle:- By seeing the presentation itself you wont be able to stop your self from having this luscious waffle. The waffle was topped with pistachio crumbles, few pieces of kinder. I would rather say enough pieces of kinder and chocolate sauce. Decorated with strawberries and vanilla ice cream with pistachio paste. The only point I would want to point out is the waffles werent that soft and crispy. It was a bit more rubbery. So if they could improve that it would be a great dish to offer. Exotic Crepe:- For me this was the best one for the night as I am a chocolate lover and the crepe was dumped into chocolate so well that we could hardly see the original crepe. The crepes are the best of all. It was served along with some mangoes, strawberry and dragon fruit. All of them were sweet which is another positive point. Last one Waffle Tower:- By the name itself the curiosity rises as to what and how is this going to be. Bubble Waffle with some chocolates and lots of milk chocolate, vanilla ice cream and scrumptious whipping cream mixed into a jar to make it a waffle tower. Looked eye pleasing and mouth-watering and tasted even better than expectation. Though i would advice them to add more of bubble waffle in it. This one can easily be shared by 2-4 persons. And if you are a mad chocolate waffle fan then you don't need anyone else. Overall an amazing place and its going to be one of the popular places is town very soon. You got to visit them and can't miss out their amazing waffles and crepes. To find this kind of place is sharjah is difficult. The crepes were the best and then the tower. Presentation is really magnetic and makes the dish irresistibly yum. It's an obvious thumbs up but they need to improve on the few small little things 👍🖒👍 CUISINE:- Cafe, Dessert, ADDRESS:- Al Nasseriya, Sharjah, UAE. TELEPHONE:- 06- 5319982

This is a small but comfortable cafe with a London themed interior design (red telephone box, retro "keep calm and carry on" signs). The plus side is that they have free WiFi and serve organic coffee on request and have an award winning Barista's on site ( if you go at a specific times). However there is still allot of development that needs to be done to widen the menu range and there is nothing available for those interested in healthy eating. Pancakes and waffle's in various styles are the only items you can expect to order. The pancakes are ok - nothing really memorable or innovative. Unfortunately the waffle's I've had on 3 occasions were fat not crispy on the outside and still almost raw/dough on the inside. The coffee is better than Starbucks or Costa so that's why I give an average rating overall and still intend to visit.
