Pizzaro Ristorante sits directly on Al Majaz Waterfront, one of Sharjah's more photogenic stretches, and it has built its reputation on that location as much as on its food. The interior is comfortably traditional, but the draw is the terrace: in the cooler months from November through April, outdoor tables look straight onto the Khalid Lagoon and the musical fountains, which frame dinner like a soundtrack. This is the room most regulars book, and it is what makes the restaurant feel genuinely occasion-worthy.
The kitchen focuses on thin-crust Italian pizza and classic pasta, and the pizza is the order most loyalists return for: Margherita, La Piemontese with sauteed mushrooms and truffle oil, frutti di mare and a seafood pizza that regulars single out. Starters lean on rosemary-garlic bread, arancini rice balls, spicy potato cubes and stuffed mushrooms; the risotto with Fontina, truffle and wild mushrooms and a homemade lasagna are the dependable pasta choices, along with chicken and asparagus tagliatelle and beef ravioli. Baba al limone closes the meal neatly, and a virgin mojito programme at the bar compensates for the absence of alcohol.
Execution is not always consistent. Quality varies between visits, and service is the most frequent caveat - on busy evenings, food can arrive out of sequence, pacing can drift between courses, and mocktails occasionally miss the mark. Pricing sits in the mid-range, with starters around 45 AED and mains from around 60. Booked for an off-peak weekday, or timed around the fountain show on a cool evening, Pizzaro is a reliably pleasant waterfront Italian; on a rushed night with a large group, it can feel stretched. It suits couples and small families who want a relaxed dinner with a view.

Pizzaro Ristorante is located by the Al Majaz waterfront ar Sharjah. It is the best Italian restaurant in Sharjah. I tried the La Piemontese Pizza (with sautéed mushrooms and truffle oil) and for dessert Baba al Limone (soft sponge cake dipped in lemon syrup, served with lemon pastry cream). Both were very nice. If I had more place in my stomach, I would have tried the Moscardini di Mazara in Umido alla diavola con crostini ali'oglio (spicy casserole of octopus with garlic bread) The risotto with creamy Fontina cheese, truffles and wild mushroom sauce also sounded interesting. The restaurant has indoor and outdoor seating by the waterfront. Service is very good. They have three branches in Dubai, two in Sharjah and two in Abu Dhabi.
