Description
Cote Jardin is the all-day dining room at Coral Beach Resort Sharjah, set on the coast near the Ajman border and looking out over the hotel's garden and pool. Since its refresh the room has taken on a warmer, brighter character, and the outdoor-facing orientation - green lawns, water glints, and a calm, family-oriented crowd - makes it a pleasant setting for a long buffet meal rather than a quick stop.
The format is a daily-changing international buffet covering continental and Mediterranean dishes with a strong Levantine and South Asian undercurrent. The spread is well-judged rather than sprawling, which means quality holds up across the stations. Cold appetisers and salads are reliably fresh, and the hot mains are where the kitchen shines: beef stroganoff, lamb stew, saffron rice, lamb kebabs, chicken tawook, bait fish in white sauce, and beef with oyster sauce all earn repeat visits. The dessert counter is a genuine highlight, with the kunafa singled out by regulars and a rotating selection of mini cakes, panna cottas, and fruit crumbles. Breakfast leans on freshly baked croissants, live omelettes, and a proper coffee service. The occasional main can come over-grilled, and the selection is deliberately compact rather than the sprawl some resort buffets offer.
Service is the restaurant's quiet strength: a long-tenured team that recognises returning guests, handles birthdays and anniversaries with complimentary cakes and a warm touch, and genuinely engages with families. Pricing is fair for the format, and weekend parking at the resort can tighten but remains workable. A natural choice for holidaying families along the Al Khan and Ajman coast, and for half-board guests it is a reliable, well-run daily anchor.

C’ote Jardin is a refurbished version of all-day dining buffet restaurant at Coral Beach Resort, Sharjah. Its décor became warmer and brighter which makes dining experience really pleasant. The waiters are attentive and well-trained, and food is generally good. Talking of main courses, we were quite impressed with Beef Stroganoff and Lamb Stew, whereas Mutton Shashlik was overcooked and a bit chewy. Selection of salads and cold appetizers was good and so was the number of main courses on offer. Parking at Coral Beach can be a bit of an issue during the weekend, but still manageable. Theme tonite is BBQ, which is usually not my fav but the restaurant overall is excellent, being in a beautiful hotel at the border of the two emirates, Sharjah and Ajman, opposite Themar al Bahr. Review collected in partnership with this restaurant
