Fish Market in Sharjah's Industrial Area runs on a simple, satisfying idea: you walk past the ice counter on the way in, pick the fish or seafood you want, specify how you want it cooked, and then settle into one of the dining rooms while the kitchen handles the rest. Hamour and grilled tiger prawns are the consistent picks, both benefiting from the charcoal treatment; whole fish is better baked or grilled than deep-fried, where the batter tends to dominate.
The concept is the draw rather than the room itself. The space is large and functional, family-friendly in a lively, casual way, and the furnishings wear their age. Appetisers - Arabic salads, mezze, warm bread - are a reliable opener while the main cooks to order. Pricing is a touch above street-level seafood given the grade of fish on offer, which feels fair when the kitchen is on form.
Service is where expectations need calibrating. On quieter evenings the counter staff guide first-time visitors through the selection and cooking styles; at peak, that hand-holding thins out and you may need to ask directly for recommendations. Come with a clear idea of what you want (a grilled hamour, a plate of prawns, the fried calamari to share) and Fish Market delivers a genuinely fresh, well-cooked seafood dinner of the kind that is harder to find in Sharjah than it should be.

Good option of fishes to eat. Charcoal and Bbq fish are nice option to try for. Fried fish is KFC kind of thing. Too oily. Didn't like it. Service and ambiance is just like any other street restaurants. Nothing worth praising.

It is an average seafood restaurant. the choices are very limited, service from poor to average. food was good and seems a popular restaurant as there aren't many seafood restaurants in town. Review collected in partnership with this restaurant
