Set in the busy Rolla district of Al Sharq, Al Nawab brings a Nawabi-style Pakistani dining experience to a neighbourhood better known for its markets than its destination restaurants. The interior is dressed with a traditional, slightly theatrical flourish - arched detailing, rich colours, and warm lighting - that lifts the room well above the typical Rolla fast-casual. Both indoor and outdoor seating are available, and the inside tables are the better choice on busy nights: the surrounding street trade can carry noise to the terrace. The kitchen leans into traditional Pakistani cooking, with a Friday buffet that is the talking point for many regulars - a broad spread of salads, starters, grills, curries, and desserts at a notably low price point. A la carte, the mutton handi is consistently the strongest pick, arriving tender and well-seasoned, with the chapli kebab (spicier than most) and the mixed grill, gola kebab, malai boti, and fried fish rounding out the grill section. Biryani, tandoori roti, and plain naan make dependable accompaniments, and the value for money across the menu is one of the stronger propositions in the area. Celebratory occasions are clearly part of the house rhythm - anniversaries and family dinners are well accommodated. A few honest caveats: service can feel uneven when the room is full, with order sequencing and table pacing occasionally slipping during peak hours. The spice level runs traditional, so diners who prefer tempered heat should ask when ordering. Parking in Rolla is paid and often tight, so allow time. Al Nawab is quite popular Pakistani Restaurant in Rolla, Sharjah. We dined there while visiting some relatives in Sharjah during our Dubai trip. We didn't book an appointment but the restaurant manager was generous to arrange a table for us after 1 hour wait during busy dinner hours. We got outdoor seats. For a restaurant in the middle of busy market, you expect noise around. That's how it is for outdoor seating, I recommend to request for indoor table. The restaurant was packed when we were seated. We ordered Mixed grill, Fish and Mutton Karahi. The order took some time to deliver as the restaurant was jam packed. Finally when it arrived, it looked eye catching and delicious. How it tasted is another story. Following the example of looks are deceptive, our food totally lacked any seasoning or spices. Fish was bland like cooked in a home fryer, mixed grill was adequately cooked but lacked any spices and equally bland was Karahi. A letdown totally to how yummy it looked. The pricing is another plus point as value is good. I think the hype for this place has derailed them. Cooking technique is there but seems all spices and some steps omitted to overcome the crowd of customers. Need to put some more heart where the soul is. I will give a shout out to their manager for arranging a table for us. Value Service Food

The food at this restaurant was quite good and the prices were quite reasonable,but the waiters were totally confused and did not know how to carry themselves in a professional manner at all.The service was quite slow.There was a problem of buzzing flies around the table and management was clueless on how to solve the issue.I would recommend ordering a takeaway rather than dining in.

They have 2 branches which i dont know and i choose the ROLLA SHARJAH place which is quite small we saw on tiktok thy have 55+ dishes but when we reach that place was not the one. They have very limited dishes as we went for ifftar buffet but very few dishes like they have only pulao one rice item along with 2 curry chicken handi and mutton handi and in bar b q they have gola kabab fry fish malai boti and tikka these were the main dishes without any food for kids they dont have chinese or they dont have kids corner and sweets also very limited so if u guys want to try to AL NAWAB dnt visit the sharjah rolla branch choose the AL MAHATAH BRANCH to enjoy 55+ dishes Value Service Food
