Description
Tucked along the Qasba waterfront in Al Majaz, Laffah Cafeteria is a casual Syrian-style shawarma counter that punches well above its category. The setting is the draw as much as the food: a generous outdoor terrace strung with bulb lighting runs alongside the canal, making it one of the most pleasant late-evening spots in Sharjah for a cheap, satisfying meal. A glass-enclosed upper seating area and pavement tables fill quickly on weekend nights, and the constant turnover of a working shawarma spit signals what the kitchen does best.
The chicken shawarma is the house specialty, and rightly so - the bread is toasted properly, the meat is well-seasoned, and the wraps arrive hot and quickly despite the crowds. The beef and saj versions are worth ordering on repeat visits, and the 250g mixed shawarma plate with hummus is a serious meal in itself. The broasted (broast) chicken is the other standout: crisp outside, juicy within, served with the much-praised seasoned potato slices that regulars treat as a separate dish. Burgers sit at the average end of the menu and can be skipped. Fresh juices - the mint-lemon in particular - round out the order, and prices remain genuinely low for the quality and portion.
A few honest caveats: delivery is the weak link, with multiple reports of long waits, missed Iftar orders, and patchy follow-up, so in-person visits are strongly preferred. Parking around Al Taawun Street is often difficult, and traffic noise carries to the canal-side tables during peak hours. Cash is still preferred at some counters. For a quick, flavourful shawarma fix in a lively waterside setting, Laffah remains one of the neighbourhood's most reliable stops.

If you are a shawarma lover, I recommend this place. The chicken and beef were perfect. They also serve a verity of other dishes but we didn't try them. we find it accidentally and When we saw the amount of shawarma made and crowded place, we guessed it should be a famous and good cafeteria. we didn't try many restaurants in Sharjah but I love shawarma and try it in Iran and Turkey. I can say that Laffah shawarma was one of the best ones that I eat. Value Service Food Review collected in partnership with this restaurant

The tastiest shawarma I have ever had! One weekend coming from a running session in Al Mamzar, I suddenly remembered this shawarma restaurant that they said is one of the best in town. On the way, you will be faced with a horrible traffic, and the most annoying thing is when you are waiting to go inside the service road and you are blocking the road because there is no parking available. That didn't affect my appetite to have a taste of their shawarma and I never regretted coming over. The chicken shawarma, now priced at AED7 per piece, is so tasty and fresh! I thought it's a normal small size but I was mistaken. One piece is good enough for me! Though the place is so busy, my order literally took just 2minutes.
