Hadramout Restaurant is a dedicated Yemeni kitchen in Fujairah city, trading on a single-speciality focus - mandi - and the Hadhrami coastal cooking tradition from southern Yemen. The room is simple and the decor is basic, which is the right trade when the kitchen is this focused on what it does well.
The menu centres on mandi: spiced rice cooked under slow-roasted chicken or lamb in the traditional buried-oven style, served on large shared platters with sides of salsa, yoghurt sauce and salad. Chicken mandi and lamb mandi are the two core orders to know, and a smaller selection of accompanying dishes and soups rounds out the menu without distracting from the signature. Meat comes off tender, the rice carries the proper saffron-and-cardamom profile, and portions are genuinely sized for sharing.
Prices are fair, and service is timely and efficient - the kitchen moves quickly once an order is in. Takeaway works well for anyone wanting to eat the mandi at home. The honest caveats: the dining room and facilities are basic, and this is a focused-order destination rather than a wider-menu restaurant. For some of the better mandi in the city, ordered simply and honestly, Hadramout is the address to know.

They are one of the best mandi restaurants in the town. Cooking standard is very good and the service is timely and efficient. They do however need to upgrade their decor and ambiance a bit which is quite basic. Need to pay attention towards their toilets too. Value Service Food
