The menu is straightforward resort fare: mixed grills, burgers, pizzas, chicken wings, prawn and calamari starters, and a handful of wider international plates. Quality when it lands is good - the Australian lamb, mixed grill starters and grilled plates are the sensible orders - and the house can accommodate spice adjustments on request. Prices sit on the higher side for what arrives on the plate, and soft drinks and cocktails run at resort rates. Service is the unpredictable variable. When the long-serving bar regulars and senior hosts are on, the room runs warmly and remembers room numbers and preferences after a single visit.
