Al Mallah Restaurant

Al Mallah is a well-established Lebanese restaurant a short walk from Lulu Hypermarket in Fujairah city, running for more than a decade as the neighbourhood's default sit-down for Levantine grills and mezze. The room is small, friendly and actively busy through the evening, with a recently refreshed outdoor green seating area that comes into its own on winter nights. The decor is unassuming rather than polished - the kitchen, not the look, is the reason regulars return. The grill section is the clearest strength. The house mixed grill, known on the menu as Mix Grill Al Mallah, is the signature plate and arrives generously portioned with a full complement of bread and sauces. Kebabs, shawarma (available from the oven at dinner), falafel, beef hummus, foul medames, kibbeh and chicken liver are the other orders regulars single out. The daily rotating hot dishes and the seasonal iftar buffet are worth watching for during Ramadan. Service is typically fast and friendly, with polite long-serving staff who can guide the menu for first-timers. Prices are fair for the quality and portion sizes. Occasional timing hiccups on busier weekend evenings - dishes arriving out of sequence, or the grill running limited items - are worth knowing about, but the overall value proposition is strong.
