Baywatch Beach Bar is Le Meridien Al Aqah's beachfront sibling to the pool bar, set with views straight down the coast and tables close enough to the water to catch the evening breeze. The daytime menu covers the expected beach-bar ground: nachos, hummus, club sandwiches, mixed grills, wraps and light sharing plates, delivered to loungers when the kitchen is quiet and cleared just as easily back at the bar. Shisha is available in the later afternoon and evening slots. The bar is where Baywatch really earns its reputation. Margaritas and strawberry margaritas are the signature orders, classic cocktails are mixed correctly rather than casually, and the drinks programme runs a proper Club Lounge happy hour early in the evening for resort guests on eligible packages. Live music lands on select evenings, and the bar area turns mildly livelier around 9pm without shaking the laid-back mood. Service is the clearest reason guests return year after year. The long-serving bar team - Eman, Shameem, Nino, Ahmed, Lu, Mohammed and colleagues - treats regulars by name, remembers usual orders and tends to quietly over-deliver on small touches. Light meals are reliable rather than exciting, so treat the kitchen as a drinks-companion rather than a main dinner destination; for proper food at the resort, Gonu and Sapore are a short walk away.
