The Ramada by Wyndham Riyadh sits in a quiet residential pocket of the capital, a low-rise property with a small garden, an outdoor pool and a calm courtesy that suits business travellers settling in for several nights. Rooms are generously sized and laid out in a classic palette of warm wood and brown tones, with comfortable beds, mini-fridges, in-room coffee and good bathrooms. The hotel is honest about its age rather than pretending to be a new build, and the appeal lies in the steady, familiar rhythm of an established address rather than design-led polish.
The location reads as a trade-off. The neighbourhood is genuinely peaceful and easy to drive in and out of, but Olaya Street, the main malls and the livelier dining strips are a fifteen to twenty minute taxi ride away, and the immediate surroundings offer little beyond a small grocery. Front-of-house staff are warm and willing, breakfast is a varied buffet that leans Arabic with lighter Western options, and the restaurant is a quiet sit-down room rather than a destination in its own right. A modest gym, a sauna and a compact pool ringed by lawn round out the facilities.
This is a sensible choice for guests on extended work assignments who value calm, parking on the doorstep and Wyndham reliability over a central address or contemporary interiors. Those expecting full five-star polish should temper expectations: the air-conditioning units can be noisy at night, the in-room technology is dated, and Wi-Fi performance is inconsistent in the rooms. Approached as a comfortable upper-mid-range property in a tranquil setting, it delivers fair value for the price.

Very poorly maintained facility. Zero value for money. Had to sleep 2 nights to the sound of an Air Condition that sounds like a typhoon. Tried so hard to reach the hotel manger for help but they completely ignored me. Rude staff that are non responsive and careless. Room service takes ages. Really horrible experience.
