Gloria Inn Hotel sits in Al Batha, the historic downtown of Riyadh, within walking distance of Masmak Fortress, the National Museum and the old souq. For travellers who want to explore the city's heritage core on foot, the location is genuinely useful, with a Lulu Hypermarket five minutes away and a string of money changers, casual local restaurants and a fresh-produce market in the surrounding lanes. The trade-off is honest: this is a dense, working-class district rather than the polished modern Riyadh of Olaya or KAFD, and Kingdom Centre is a meaningful taxi ride away. Anyone whose plans centre on the new business or shopping districts will find the daily commute long.
The property itself is a well-kept four-star with a confident, modern interior, free underground parking and a small Starbucks in the lobby. Rooms are clean and comfortable rather than expansive, with good beds, a proper writing space and decent storage. The build is the property's main weakness: walls and windows let through a fair amount of street and corridor noise, and rooms facing the highway can be hard work for light sleepers, so a higher floor on the inner side of the building is worth requesting at booking. Hot water depends on a switch that housekeeping sometimes leaves off; if water runs lukewarm, check the bathroom switch labelled heater before calling reception.
Food and facilities punch above the price. The breakfast buffet is genuinely good, with cooked-to-order eggs, fresh fruit and a wide spread that runs from Arabic to international staples; lunch and dinner in the same restaurant are reasonably priced and well prepared. An indoor swimming pool, a steam and spa area and a tidy gym sit on the second floor, a useful spread of facilities for the segment. Service is warm and willing throughout, even if some processes still feel new and check-in can run slow at peak times. Best suited to heritage-minded travellers, tour groups and budget-conscious business guests whose work sits in the old downtown rather than the modern north of the city.

When I heared that Gloria hotel chain had opened a new one in Riyadh, I was very happy to re-examine the joyful stay at Gloria Hotels in Dubai.Unfortunately, I have a bad experience with this Gloria Inn Riyadh. Why?! I will tell you :1- Bad location with bad environment around.2- Poor services in Restaurant. It seems to me that they are in soft opening time but it is not.3- Late start up of breakfast; @ 7 a.m. instead of 6 a.m. as the other hotels and the same chain hotels. I pay for it in advance with no indication at all at the site of booking to start up time. My business atarts at 7 a.m. so what I will do?4- Low pressure service water in bathroom that making your shower disaster. I will re consider seriously my loyalty to this hotel's chain.
