Four Points by Sheraton Riyadh Khaldia stands in the older southern reach of the city, within walking distance of Al Masmak Fortress, the Murabba heritage district and the Batha shopping streets. That setting is the property's clearest selling point: of the international-brand hotels in central Riyadh, few sit this close to the historic core, which makes it a sensible base for travellers prioritising Old Riyadh over Olaya nightlife or KAFD business addresses. The neighbourhood itself is workaday rather than polished, with ongoing metro and street works adding to the texture, and a car or ride-hail is needed for almost everything beyond the immediate landmarks. Rooms are larger than the brand standard, particularly on the upper floors where the city view opens up; the suites add a kitchenette, two bathrooms and a separate living area, which suits long stays and family bookings well. Finishes are clean but visibly dated, and the property is overdue a comprehensive refurbishment - carpets, soft furnishings and televisions all show their age. The building has two pools and two gyms, plus a top-floor lounge with city views, a lobby Starbucks corner and a mezzanine all-day restaurant whose breakfast buffet is genuinely strong, with a live egg station and dishes spanning Arabic, Indian and Western cooking. Service is the most variable element. Housekeeping, F&B and valet teams draw consistent praise, with several long-stay guests becoming regulars by name. The front desk and back-office are less reliable: check-in delays at peak hours, occasional Bonvoy benefit recognition issues and a recurring complaint about elevator reliability all warrant honest mention. For Marriott Bonvoy members redeeming points, business travellers needing southern-Riyadh proximity, or visitors building a trip around the heritage quarter, it offers solid value at a sensible rate. Travellers expecting fully refreshed five-star polish will be better served elsewhere in the city.

This was a 14 night stay for me due to meetings in Riyadh. The Four Points Riyadh easily beats the quality and amenities of the Four Points found throughout the US. They have an expansive breakfast (if you are lucky you will be there on a day that Ovi is serving - he’s fantastic). Lots of options, including food from multiple cultures including Western, Indian and Arabic. Complimentary for elite Bonvoy members.As a Titanium Bonvoy member I was upgraded to a high-floor suite. Really loved the extra space. Hotel staff brought me a heater because it got chilly at night - so nice of them. Large shower area with great pressure.Utilized the fitness center most nights there - it has everything you’d need including treadmill, weights, even a pull up bar. Staff is very helpful and friendly. The housekeeper Nasir did a great job and gave me plenty of water which I really appreciated. Omar delivered a welcome gift and always asked if I needed anything when I saw him throughout the hotel. The hotel is a little far from the “up and coming” parts of town (and the area of the hotel is experiencing major upgrading) but the extra long commute to my meetings was well worth it due to the friendly staff, good breakfast and wonderful room. Will definitely be back.

Rooms are ok but toilet sometimes smells bad for no reason.Breakfast isn’t that good, and they serve the worst coffee Ive ever tried.I think they keep it bad so you go to the lobby coffeeshop and pay to get normal coffee. I haven’t expected this from one of Marriott network!.

Staff is the best, especially Ovi at breakfast. I always feel welcome and he makes sure the staff bring me my usual coffee just right. Breakfast is a very large buffet with many options and egg station.They honor Marriott elite benefits, unlike other Marriott properties in the US (like the Marriott Al Jaddef in Dubai - AVOID). I always get a nice room and they are good about bringing extra water or towels as requested.Elevators can be a bit quirky but there was only one time I really had an issue (I’ve stayed at this hotel for many weeks off and on this year). And I just asked to use the service elevator. So that was that.Will definitely return. Highly recommended for business travelers and if you have kids there are two huge pools and 2 gyms. Can’t ask for more. Can’t wait til the 26th floor lounge opens.
