Cristal Amaken Hotel sits in the industrial zone between Riyadh and Al Kharj, an area thin on quality accommodation, which makes it the default choice for engineers, contractors and business travellers with work in the surrounding plants. The address is the proposition: a polished, full-service base in a part of the city that otherwise offers very little to choose from.
Rooms are spacious and fully equipped, with kettles, mini-bars and clean, contemporary bathrooms. The lobby is generous and houses a Starbucks and a Movenpick counter, both useful for travellers tied up in long working days. Facilities are more complete than the location suggests: a sizeable outdoor pool, a small but functional gym, and a hammam and spa setup that rounds out the wellness offer.
The restaurant is the unexpected highlight. The kitchen runs themed evenings - Italian nights and similar - and the dinner programme is consistently better than peers in the area, with Chef Anas drawing repeat visitors who appreciate his willingness to tailor dishes for longer-stay guests. Breakfast is more conventional and execution at the buffet can drift on busy mornings, with refills slow and items served below temperature. Wi-Fi is serviceable but occasionally drops out, and housekeeping can be more eager with door-knocks than some prefer.
The hotel suits business travellers who need a comfortable, reliable base close to the industrial city, and is less compelling for leisure stays given the distance to central Riyadh attractions.

Finding a hotel in between Riyadh and Al Kharj which is good is really difficult so this hotel has been eagerly anticipated.Location is perfect.Cleanliness, room comfort, shower and food are all great. There are also developments for Spa and Turkish bath. The gym is small but functional and for a few nights it will be good enough. The outdoor pool is also a good sizeStaff are greatI’m hoping this hotel will be supported by the business community as on a personal level it suits me perfectly

Hotel is comfortable. Unfortunately the restaurant manager who manages breakfast completely missed the mark. Having to carry your coffee across a restaurant isn’t acceptable. Food is always cold and countless items not refilled. The little things matter
