Braira Al Yarmouk sits in a quiet residential pocket of east Riyadh, a short drive from Atyaf Mall and within easy reach of a supermarket, a metro stop and a handful of local restaurants. The neighbourhood is workaday rather than glamorous, which keeps the property's tariffs honest and makes it a practical pick for extended business trips and family visits to the eastern districts. The building itself is a mature mid-tier property, well kept rather than freshly minted, and the operation runs on warm, hands-on service rather than slick polish.
Rooms are spacious and clean, with comfortable beds and proper desks, and housekeeping is genuinely diligent. The catch is the building's design: many balconies are walled off for privacy, which limits outward views, and there is no real natural light in the upper-floor corridors or restaurant. The hotel uses scented diffusers in the public areas to compensate for the lack of through-ventilation, and the fragrance can sit a little heavy for sensitive guests, so a room with a working window is worth requesting at booking.
Food is the property's strongest suit. The lobby cafe and outdoor patio are popular for breakfast and casual dining, the buffet is well-judged with hot, fresh dishes, and the kitchen under Chef Sabry turns out reliably good Middle Eastern and international plates. The lobby coffee programme is a small highlight in its own right. Room service mirrors the restaurant menu and is quick.
The gym is run by a third-party fitness centre on the same site, which means towels, mats and full equipment are not always on offer to hotel guests; travellers who train daily should plan to use a nearby club instead. There is a small business-side caveat too: a few corporate guests have reported delays getting invoices and receipts, so finance teams should request documentation at check-out rather than after departure. Best suited to business travellers and families who value space, attentive service and good food over a polished design statement.

I spent 20 nights at the Braira Al Yarmouk this month (Dec 2023) for business. Overall, my stay was a disappointment however, I want to begin with the positive and perhaps that will be enough for you to make a "go" decision on the property. The food they serve in the lobby/patio is delicious. Evening room service is the same, very good food. There is not a lot of variety on the menu but what they have is very good. Also, the staff who work in the hotel are all very friendly and professional (except for the fitness center - more to come on that). The location is middle of the road.. There is a nice mall about 10 minutes away (walking) where you can get a good dinner and a coffee/shopping. Other than that, this hotel is not in the nice part of Riyadh so be prepared. Now for the items that will ensure I don't go back. The fitness center is apparently not part of the hotel and they have an agreement to let the guests use it. The staff in the fitness center does not want you there. They will not give you towels nor mats, they are rude to guests, and the gym itself is very poorly equipped. If you like to have a gym where you stay then keep looking ...There is little to no ventilation if the hotel, and it is an older building. To compensate for this they have machines that blow an incense smell throughout the building but they do it way too much. By my second day there I had problems breathing anytime I was in the hotel, it gets pretty bad. The rooms have a window but you can't see outside of most of them due to the balcony being covered by a wall. There are no windows in the restaurant or anywhere above the lobby so it does feel like a tomb.Again, know what you are getting into with this hotel. It is not a high-end property by any imagination. If you can't find a room anywhere else then you will be fine. But if you have a choice of hotels you may want to find one in a better part of town and also one with a fitness center worth using and some ventilation as well.Loved the staff however, just the management that needs work..

Braira Al Yarmouk exceeded all expectations during my three-week stay for a business meeting. Manager Haseeb's dedication to ensuring a seamless experience was truly exceptional. The hotel staff, particularly Rahul, Rashid, and Eyasin, went above and beyond, embodying the epitome of hospitality at every turn. Their warmth and attentiveness created an atmosphere of genuine care.A special mention to Chef Sabri, whose culinary artistry elevated every dining experience to a masterpiece. The delectable dishes he crafted showcased both skill and passion, leaving an indelible mark on my taste buds. From the moment I arrived until the day of departure, Braira Al Yarmouk radiated excellence in service, making my extended stay not just comfortable but truly memorable. I wholeheartedly commend the entire team for their unwavering commitment to providing an outstanding guest experience.
