The house-named Monto Sushi and the Lava Roll (a hot-and-cold combination of tuna, crab stick and shrimp) are the signatures, and the 'Extreme' category appeals to guests wanting properly spicy sushi. Starters are strong - sesame chicken salad and shrimp toast are both cited repeatedly - and the mains section stretches into wagyu kushiyaki, ramen and chicken noodle bowls.
