Puro Café & Terrace is the daytime café sibling of 1484 by Puro on Jebel Jais, pitched as a light, airy spot with one of the most striking outdoor decks in the region - a full sweep of the Hajar mountains and the upper wadi, almost always several degrees cooler than the coast. It's designed for coffees, long breakfasts and light lunches rather than formal dinners.
The menu leads with well-executed café plates. Thin-crust wood-fired pizzas, poke bowls, burrata salads, tempura and pastas all come through with generous portion sizes. Breakfast runs substantial, which pairs well with guests arriving after a morning drive or a cycle up the mountain. The drinks list is full café format - speciality coffees, speciality mocktails, fresh juices - and the dessert selection, particularly the sticky date pudding, has its own small following. Vegetarian breakfast coverage has historically been patchy, so call ahead if dietary preferences are strict.
Service is personal and attentive when the team is on form - staff name-checked by return visitors for bringing blankets out to cyclists, engaging with first-timers and making the daytime venue feel warmer than the high-altitude setting would suggest. Experiences have been mixed on the front-of-house side over time, but the view and the kitchen are reasons enough to time the trip around this stop. Come after a Jebel Jais drive; stay for sunset if time allows.

Great priced and very staff friendly place to chill!. My friends and I decided to take a few drinks one night here. The welcome was very warm. We were led up to the roof and seated in very comfortable chairs. Almost like at home in your own living room. We ordered Long island ice teas and a green tea and chatted away. Smoking was permitted. It was a little chilly but very pleasant. We also ordered cheesecake..which was absolutely fantastic. Try their desserts. Thank you for your service. The prices too were very reasonable.

Nice location and amazing view .... I visited my friends in Ras Al Khaimah and we had lunch in this Restaurant. The indoor place is nice but small - you can literally hear what other guests are discussing.\nThe outdoor seating is very nice with the view of the beach (on the other side of the road) but since summer is back - no one is dining outdoor.\nThe menu has a good selection.\nThe food that we ordered was delicious ( just a comment on Caesar Salad coz literally half of the serving was all “crutons”)\nThis place is pricey - same as dining in “5 Star Hotel” Restaurant - surprisingly.\nThe service was good and we enjoyed our lunch.\n

Excellent service. Had a lovely family meal on the terrace with great view over the water. The staff were so helpful and the food was varied to suit all tastes. The children were given books to read and pictures to colour and we had a wonderfully relaxing evening. We will return.
