Emirates Sea Restaurant is a long-running standalone near Vida Beach, serving an unusually broad menu that bridges Arabian seafood classics with a full Indian and Chinese carte - a combination that works better than it sounds thanks to a kitchen that takes each cuisine seriously. The dining room is quietly distinctive, laid out in high-walled booths that give each table genuine privacy, complete with call bells and warm plate service. Seafood is the headliner - grilled salmon, prawn and whole-fish preparations come out properly cooked and well presented - while the Indian section is the local return favourite, with generous portions of the northern classics and tandoor specialties. Chinese wok dishes round out the menu for mixed groups. Prices are markedly below resort-restaurant levels, which has earned it a devoted following across both expat residents and visiting tourists looking for a non-hotel meal. Service is warm, personable, and fast without feeling rushed. Booths and the call-bell system work particularly well for couples wanting a private dinner or families managing young kids. The room's styling could do with a refresh - some tablecloths and sofas look their age - but the kitchen and service more than justify the visit. It's the best-value serious dinner on the RAK side of the strip.
