Saray Spa on the third floor of JW Marriott Marquis takes its name and its thematic cues from the caravanserais of the Silk Road, delivering one of Dubai's most completely equipped hotel wellness floors. Seventeen treatment rooms, separate gendered zones, private hammam suites and a properly sequenced thermal circuit, sauna, steam, jacuzzi, cold plunge, ice fountain, and circulation showers, set the stage for genuine half-day bookings rather than single-treatment visits.
The menu is extensive but well-curated: signature Balinese and deep-tissue massage, hot-stone work, a traditional Turkish hammam with its award-winning Golden Hammam variant, Wedded Bliss couples packages, Exclusively Yours personalised sessions and a focused facial line-up. The therapist bench is the strongest asset, with several long-serving hands building multi-year regulars around specific pressure preferences and specific body issues; hammam work is similarly confident, and exfoliation pressure is adjusted willingly rather than being delivered to a single protocol. Front-of-house choreography is attentive, with staff walking first-timers through the facilities rather than simply pointing at them.
Pricing is firmly premium, but Marriott status, Entertainer vouchers and weekday package offers consistently pull the effective cost down to sensible levels for the quality on offer. The changing rooms are smaller than the treatment floor suggests and deserve the housekeeping attention they are beginning to need in some corners, though treatment rooms themselves are immaculate. For residents and visiting guests seeking a properly equipped hammam and thermal experience alongside a genuinely skilled massage bench in Business Bay, Saray Spa remains one of the city's most complete wellness destinations.

My wife and I visited the spa for a couples treatment. We loved it. The massage is excellent and the facilities are wonderful. A full sauna, jacuzzi, steam room, mist shower, plunge shower and a relaxation room are all side benefits. My masseuse was the head of the male section (Youssef?) and was amazing. We have had fun and can easily say that compared to many other places, Saray Spa stands out!

Didn’t manage to get here last year when I was here but thank goodness I made the effort this time around. Many treatments to choose from and they are expensive however it is a treat to myself. After checking in, I go here as am staying 4 days and know it can be busy. The 3 staff on at the time were very warm and welcoming. I ask to see if there are any special offers on of which there was one but not really what I had in mind. I asked again and he checked the room number I was in, then saying as a member, I could have 20% off any treatment. They had been awarded for the best “ Saray Golden Hamman treatment “ and he was pushing that quite hard in a nice way though. It was a 2 hour treatment and cost £270 minus discount for being a marriot gold acct member so paid £220 in the end, I took the pricing leaflet away with me and later that evening called down & booked in for it, the chap was very happy. I signed away on the consent form. I had booked this for 8pm as a masseur told me once that to have a massage is very good at the end of the day as you are pretty much prepped ready for bed. My lady was called Pui from Thailand. She has been there 6 months. Initially we went into the hamman area (v warm) where she bathed me in water then I lay on the hamman area on top of some padded towels, the heat coming through into my body was just the best (I do love the heat though). She then exfoliated me using a loofah, then a scrub all over then my face covered in some honey cleanser I think. Then off to a very hot room (not for the faint hearted). As the door opens she guides you in as you can hardly see anything for the steam and you get onto this rectangular stone box where you just lie flat, 5 minutes either side but think it was more like 10 (maybe that was just me, you couldn’t do anything but just lie there, it was so hot, I asked her what temp it was – 43degress but I was just thinking about all the toxins and alcohol coming out and how I would feel after it. Back into the hammam area again to finish with a 45 minute massage. Pui was asking if the pressure was ok, did I want more or less. She was excellent, we made small talk as I do but then found myself drifting off. After she asked if she could have done anything different or better, how good is that. No, she was perfect and I told her so. I have travelled a lot and do make time for spa’s when I travel and have to say, she was superb. I think she will do great and wish her well. I would just like to have a limitless supply of funds so I could go more often.

I would rate it as the top 10 spa in Dubai. The staff, facility, layout and products, impeccable. Excellent experience and although they are abit on the high side they do have weekday discounts for half the price!
