Description
Point Zero is Dubai's dedicated float centre, tucked into DIFC and built around sensory-deprivation tanks and pods filled with body-temperature, heavily salted water that takes buoyancy out of the equation. Private suites include shower, amenities and soundproofing, and sessions are structured to let visitors choose complete darkness or low light and music. The environment is clean, considered and deliberately understated.
The float itself is the signature: one-hour sessions in either a capsule-style pod or a larger open tank, tuned to ease muscle tension, decompress the nervous system and reset after travel or heavy training. For first-timers, the initial minutes take some adjustment before the sense of time and body softens; most guests emerge visibly loosened, with many reporting a longer-lasting effect on sleep and back tension. Add-on treatments, scalp and foot massage, oil-based bodywork and Ayurvedic consultation, pair naturally with the float and are handled by skilled therapists.
Staff guide arrivals through the process carefully, and the centre is busy enough that booking several days ahead is sensible. For anyone looking for something beyond conventional massage, it is a rare and well-executed proposition in the city.

I tried the flotation pod, which was a bit intimidating at first because i get nervous in enclosed spaces but when i relaxed, it was cool, im looking forward to the next time. I also had a foot and scalp massage afterwards, perfect choice. The staff are super friendly, loved it.

Of all the gifts I've ever received, this one was the most special. Think an oasis of relaxation, it doesn't get better than this. It's a spa experience with a difference.

Having heard a lot about floatation benefits, such as improved athletic performance and muscle recovery, I always wanted to give it a try. At first I wasn't sure if I'd be able to lay absolutely still for 1 hour doing nothing. But, as it turned out your sense of time is the first thing to go as you float. I swear, this hour felt like 20 minutes max. The temperature is set to match that of the human body, and the salt content is high enough that you can float effortlessly. With sound and light-proofing, I had the sensation that my body and the water were one 😴 It felt like I had been meditating for hours, only the effect was achieved right after I got into the water! 😊👌
