The 306 meter tall with 73 stories, the skyscraper in Dubai; UAE was known as Infinity Tower before its inauguration. The tower’s construction began in 2006 and was designed by Skidmore, Owings and Merrill (SOM), who also designed the Burj Khalifa. The tower became the world’s tallest building with a twist of 90 degrees on its opening on 10 June, 2013. The sky touching building is meant only for residential purposes.
