December 20, 2017 was my birthday. The next day my lovely wife took me to a massage treatment then afternoon tea in this amazingly located and designed but unfortunately miss-managed place. We finished our couple massage which was great (Thanks for the girls in the spa) then we went directly for the afternoon tea next door, at that point i wanted badly to go to bathroom but i didn't want to interrupt the romance that was going back and forth between my wife and i :). I couldn't hold it anymore and ran to toilet to surprisingly find it LOCKED, yes, the only bathroom available in that common area in the hotel main lobby is simply locked and you need a ROOM CARD KEY to open what is supposed to be a toilet for whoever visits this huge hotel .... imagine?! That day, we spent almost $300 in an outlet that doesn't appreciate us as outside visitors, apparently; this hotel's management appreciates staying guests only and doesn't welcome you if you want to visit for day use, or you are a spa user or you just wanna enjoy a meal. I have traveled almost half of our beautiful world and never seen such disrespect and neglect of a basic human need, a PEE in any other hotel So, if you live in Dubai or just visiting this mazing city and are thinking to visit this place as a non-room guest, then make sure you put on your pullup pampies before you go or get ready to wet your pants.
