Stella Di Mare Dubai Marina occupies a slender 31-storey tower in the heart of the Marina, opened in 2019 and well-placed for a city-focused stay: the Marina Walk, its restaurants, and the DMCC Metro stop are all within a ten-minute walk, and a complimentary shuttle runs to JBR Beach and the Marina Mall through the day. The lobby is calm and marble-lit, with a compact ground-floor lounge bar and a rooftop sky lounge that is the property's quieter evening surprise, occasional parties aside.
Rooms are the strongest card. Generously sized for the marina price band, they are finished in a restrained contemporary palette, immaculately clean, and stocked with the full working-traveller kit - kettle and tea and coffee, fridge, iron and board, strong Wi-Fi, good work desk, and generous toiletries. Marina-view rooms on the higher floors catch the towers of the Princess Tower cluster and the curve of the waterway; the one genuine caveat here is that no room in the hotel has a balcony, so guests set on stepping outside for morning coffee should check alternative properties. Housekeeping is fast, thorough, and happy to replenish supplies on short notice.
Dining runs through an all-day restaurant with a broad, fresh, made-to-order breakfast buffet and a capable dinner service on BB, HB, HB+, or FB packages; the Japanese restaurant is a pleasant change-of-pace for an a la carte evening, and in-room dining arrives warm and at temperature. The rooftop pool with its small lawn terrace, a lobby bar for evening drinks, and a compact gym round out the leisure side. The pool is on the smaller side and can feel tight at peak hours, and the spa offering is modest rather than flagship.
Service is where the property consistently punches above the category. The front office, concierge, housekeeping, and F and B teams are warm, observant, and unusually capable in a crisis, and returning guests are commonly recognised on sight. Some street noise from the Marina's livelier blocks can carry into lower-floor rooms, so light sleepers may prefer a higher floor. Best for couples, solo travellers, business guests training or transiting through the Marina, and anyone wanting a well-priced urban base with fast access to the beach, the tram, and the Metro.
