I was initially apprehensive about booking a hotel adjacent to such a busy mall in Dubai, especially given the notorious New Year traffic. However, my concerns turned out to be completely unfounded. We booked a family connecting room at the Sheraton Mall of the Emirates. One room featured a spacious king bed, while the adjoining room had two large double beds. Both rooms were generously sized, with very large, well-appointed bathrooms. The beds were exceptionally comfortable and spotlessly clean, making for a truly restful stay. It’s worth noting that you need to change lifts to reach the guest rooms, but with six lifts in operation, waiting times were minimal and never an inconvenience. Access to the mall itself is extremely easy and seamless, which proved to be a major advantage. The only aspect I found unnecessary was the number of alcohol bottles displayed openly in the room for sale. This felt out of place in a Muslim country and particularly unnecessary for a family room. That said, when I requested their removal, the staff did so promptly and without any fuss.Overall, my stay at the Sheraton turned out to be one of the highlights of my December vacation. Considering the exorbitant hotel prices in Dubai during this period, it offered excellent value for money. I would definitely recommend this hotel to other travelers.
