Royal Central Hotel The Palm occupies a slim sliver of beach on the West Crescent of Palm Jumeirah, positioned with clean sightlines across the Arabian Gulf to Atlantis and the trunk of the island. The hotel plays a deliberately smaller hand than the Palm's flagship resorts, with a compact, low-rise footprint, a single pool deck that flows directly onto the sand, and a lobby that reads warm and unhurried rather than grand. That intimacy is its strongest card: breakfast rarely feels pressured, the beach has enough sunbeds for its guests, and the front office tends to recognise returning faces by the second morning.
Rooms are comfortably sized and thoughtfully finished, with higher categories and suites opening onto large balconies that deliver panoramic day-to-night views over the Palm and towards the Marina and Downtown skyline. Standard rooms are on the simpler side and wardrobe space can be tight, so guests travelling heavily may want to book up. Higher-floor rooms facing the sea are quietest; ground and first-floor rooms can catch late-night cleaning activity from the pool bar below, which is worth a polite preference at booking.
Dining runs across three restaurants, with the all-day buffet handling breakfast and the half-board programme, a relaxed pool bar serving a lunch menu, and Choi's on the rooftop as the property's standout - a contemporary pan-Asian room with strong sushi and Korean-leaning plates and a terrace overlooking the Palm at sunset. Happy hour at Choi's sits roughly between 6.30pm and 8.30pm, and half-board guests can switch dinner for lunch there with a day's notice. The free shuttle to the Mall of the Emirates and neighbouring malls makes a good afternoon loop, with the Metro and Dubai Tram on the return.
A few honest caveats before booking. The all-inclusive package is narrower than the Palm's more generous operators: rooftop Choi's drinks are charged separately, the coffee area operates on different rules, and AI service typically ends at 10.30pm. The spa offering is really a steam room and a compact gym with treatments sold a la carte. Some of the outdoor hardware shows its age, the nearby plot hosts active construction visible from certain elevations, and the beach itself is on the shelly side rather than postcard-white. Downtown is a 30 to 50-minute transfer depending on traffic - a car or a yellow street taxi is more economical than the hotel-arranged option. Best for couples and small families who want a quiet, well-priced Palm base with direct sea access and a rooftop sunset perch.

Checked in on March 18, a girl met at the reception, who immediately began to offer for extra money an improved room with a sea view when they refused, offered a room with a view half to the sea, half to the other side. We refused, to which she offered us a free place in a superior room (our superior room, which was booked, they offered us for money). Next, arrived on the wedding anniversary, the tour operator notified the event in advance, a greeting card was also sent to us from the travel agency addressed to the hotel. However, we did not receive a compliment or a card from the tour operator. Screen notification (postcard) tour operator sent us, and at the reception insolently say that the notifications did not receive such. That's not expected of a five-star hotel. Overall, the hotel is good, clean, the food is delicious, the beach is clean, cleaning every day, the bed is changed every day, the pool is warm. Next time I'll choose another hotel

Overall i liked the hotel, the food was good ( i found the breakfast buffet a bit expensive) our room was satisfactory the room service was ongoing, i could see them cleaning rooms even in the afternoon, Pool and beach facilities good. The only “complaint “ on my behalf was the hammam or steam room: if it was empty all day it was off therefore when I went there in the evening the benches were cold and the room needed at least 15 /20 minutes to heat.

Very nice hotel, with swimming pool and private beach. sunbeds and beach towels all inclusive. very varied and good food both for breakfast and lunch and dinner. possibility 'to eat both inside and outside a stone's throw from the pool and beach. helpful and very kind staff. everything spotless both inside and outside the structure. the only flaw and 'the fact that the hotel , being in the exclusive area of Palm Jumeirah , and 'a little far from downtown or streets with shops. but with taxis you can reach everything easily at very reasonable prices.
