Hyatt Regency Galleria Residence Dubai is the residential wing of the long-running Hyatt Regency complex on Dubai Creek, a short walk from the Gold Souk and a fifteen-minute drive from Downtown Dubai. Accommodations are full apartments - one, two and three-bedroom layouts with kitchens, washer-dryers, separate living and dining rooms and some of the better creek-facing views on this side of the city. The format suits families and longer stays particularly well, and the rates for multi-bedroom units tend to be notably reasonable for the space they deliver.
The residence is plugged into a genuinely useful ecosystem. A small in-house mall, Galleria, sits under the tower with a supermarket, pharmacy, cinema, salon and boutiques, and a Metro station is five minutes on foot. The property operates two pools - the rooftop Helios deck on the 30th floor, which is the one worth the lift - plus a well-equipped gym, sauna, steam and jacuzzi. Breakfast is served on the 25th floor with a creek view and a live cooking station that handles eggs, crepes and pancakes to order, and a revolving restaurant overhead adds a classic Dubai dining occasion to the stay. A complimentary shuttle runs to Dubai Mall and La Mer beach.
Service is warm at its best, and long-stay guests often build real rapport with breakfast chefs and reception staff. Housekeeping, however, is the property's most consistent caveat: standards vary day to day, so flagging issues promptly at reception gets quick results. The building is also large, with some distance between the apartment wings, the lobby and the pool deck, which is worth knowing for guests with mobility needs.
This is an honest-value, residential-feel Hyatt rather than a design-led resort. For travellers who want space, a Deira base with real neighbourhood texture, and the convenience of a mall, metro and shuttle at the door, the apartments deliver a practical and comfortable stay. Guests expecting a five-star concierge ballet are better served elsewhere on the Palm or Downtown.

Horrible experience. We arrived at the hotel around 2 AM and hopefully we could get to sleep after a long flight. Unfortunately it was not possible as the apartment they gave us was full of mold. It was smelling so bad that my 2 years old son had vomited. After long discussions and waiting they sent someone to check and he confirmed it was not possible to sleep there so they moved us to a smaller apartment which at least was clean. So instead of upgrading because of their problem with that apartment, they have downgraded us so no we get less for the money we already paid. Unfortunately we booked through an agency and paid in advance so now we have to try and find a solution with them.As a conclusion, if you don’t want to risk starting your vacation with the wrong foot, then avoid this hotel.

The service fell short of expectations during my stay, and I was quite disappointed with the overall experience.
