The hotel is one of the older addresses on the strip, and it trades on that location more than it does on its finishes, though a recent soft refurbishment has refreshed the public areas and some of the room stock.
Rooms are sensibly sized rather than generous, and the sea-facing categories are the ones to book - higher floors pick up a clean view of the Gulf and the Ain Dubai wheel on Bluewaters. Club rooms include access to the Executive Lounge, which delivers solid breakfast, all-day refreshments and evening canapés, and is one of the more reliable reasons to upgrade here. Service through reception and housekeeping is broadly willing, though consistency during peak check-in can be uneven.
Dining runs to a capable international buffet, a Mediterranean grill, a Japanese outlet and a beachfront cafe for lunch service in swimwear. Breakfast is generous in scope if not particularly refined. The pool deck flows into the beach, with towel service, sunbeds and shaded cabanas, and the kids' club takes the edge off family stays during the day, though it closes in the early evening.
Two honest caveats shape the recommendation. The property shares its block with JBR's bar and nightlife scene, and rooms facing the promenade can carry music into the small hours at weekends - ask for a high floor on the sea side if you're a light sleeper or travelling for work. And it is worth checking the final folio carefully at check-out; guests have reported occasional billing charges that take follow-up to resolve. For a walkable JBR beach stay with a workaday Hilton rhythm, though, it remains a practical choice.

Used to stop by this hotel the whole misunderstanding was even less. Now the homeless hotel is. I booked a room with two big beds in advance. When booking indicated to give higher floor and closer to the elevator. Check-in's supposed to be February 14th but I flew in the night of February 15th. When I check in, they tell me that they have a room with only one large bed., a room at the very end of the hallway and on the 2nd floor that doesn't even have toothbrushes and toothpaste and it's 5 ca?????? It was half a day before I was supposed to check in. But checked in much later as he arrived the next night and had plenty of time to prepare the room. I went to the reception, noticed that very unprofessional employees Dipti (behaving aggressively, belly of the earth) and Meryl, and told these ladies to change the number but they responded to me by stating that there were no numbers. But the booking is full of available rooms at this hotel in different categories. When a hotel cherishes its name it does everything to correct the mistake up to upgrading the room category. But these citizens apparently already brazenly completely, changed the number refused and upgraded the room category too. I don't recommend visiting this hotel. PS I've been to this hotel 10 times and every time the service gets worse and worse. I advise management to pay attention to the professionalism of their employees especially in this hotel.
