Perched at the apex of Palm Jumeirah, Atlantis, The Palm is less a hotel than a self-contained resort city, built around the twin draws of Aquaventure Waterpark and The Lost Chambers aquarium. Both are included with every room, and guests can drift between slides, rays and reef tanks without ever leaving the property. Arrivals through the cavernous lobby are handled by valet and doormen who set an early tone of scale and showmanship.
Rooms are generous and mostly face either the palm-frond skyline, the hotel's own marine habitat or the Arabian Gulf, with the best corner suites taking in the Burj Al Arab and Burj Khalifa beyond. Turndown touches - rose petals for anniversaries, towel animals, little welcome boxes for kids - are consistent rather than occasional, and housekeeping is a genuine strength. Families tend to book Imperial Club for the private lounge, afternoon tea and daily canapés, and it's the detail that most reliably lifts the stay.
Dining is the other reason people come. Across more than thirty outlets you can eat Nobu, Gordon Ramsay's Bread Street Kitchen, Hakkasan and Ling Ling, the Seafire steakhouse, En Fuego for South American grill and ceviche, or fall back on the Kaleidoscope and Saffron buffets. Half-board is priced to be worth taking, and breakfast is particularly strong. Lower-cost options around the resort - a ground-floor aquarium-view cafe, Cold Stone for milkshakes, quick bites inside the waterpark - keep things workable for longer stays.
The beach is wide, the pools are well staffed with app-based food and drink service, and a monorail connects the hotel to Nakheel Mall in under ten minutes. The honest caveats: Aquaventure can feel busy in peak holiday weeks, queues at the marquee slides run twenty minutes, and parts of the park have rotated through refurbishment. Even so, the resort delivers its headline experience - a Dubai holiday where the hotel itself is the destination - with rare consistency.

We had an absolutely wonderful time at the Atlantis hotel, and the Aqua Gym was one of the highlights of our stay! We are incredibly satisfied with the whole experience. We especially want to give a massive shout-out and praise to our trainer, Happy Patrik. He is simply amazing! His energy is contagious, he makes the workout so much fun, and he really lives up to his name. He motivated everyone in the pool and created a fantastic, positive atmosphere. If you are staying at Atlantis, joining his aqua gym class is an absolute must.Thank you, Happy Patrik, for making our holiday even better. We give it 5 out of 5 stars

Our recent stay at Atlantis The Palm was nothing short of perfect. We traveled with our 10-month-old and from the moment we arrived we felt completely at ease. The hotel itself is absolutely immaculate — every space is spotless, beautifully maintained and thoughtfully designed. You can tell there is real attention to detail in everything, from the rooms to the public areas. Cleanliness was clearly a top priority, which made traveling with a baby so much more relaxing. However, what truly sets this hotel above any other is the staff. Every single staff member we encountered was warm, attentive and genuinely caring. They went out of their way to make sure our baby was looked after and that we had everything we needed. Nothing ever felt like too much trouble. Their kindness and professionalism made our stay exceptional. I always think it feels unfair to mention a few names when everyone we came across was so kind and friendly but a few staff members that went above and beyond in our stay were Jacks at the family pool bar, Justin and Omar at Saffron and our lovely room cleaners, Asal and Shajib. Every single member of staff at this hotel are a credit to the resort! The food was also fantastic, with a wide variety of high-quality options. We were especially impressed with how well they catered to allergies and intolerances. The team was knowledgeable, accommodating and careful, which gave us great peace of mind. I was actually able to go away and have what I wanted to eat rather than being restricted to a few options. A special thanks to the breakfast chefs at Saffron, who could not have been more accommodating. Overall, Atlantis The Palm delivered a flawless family-friendly experience. Luxurious, welcoming and perfectly suited for traveling with little ones. We couldn’t have asked for a better trip and we cannot wait to return again!
