The spa at InterContinental Dubai Marina sets its tone before treatments begin, with a walk-in through hanging lights and softly running water that gradually filters out the noise of the waterfront beyond. The space is polished and understated, with treatment rooms that feel private and a thermal circuit featuring steam and sauna for pre and post-treatment use. The hotel's Marina setting adds its own appeal, with the pool area and views easy to fold into a longer spa afternoon.
Massage is the programme's strength. Deep-tissue and signature full-body work is delivered with skill and discretion, and several therapists have built real followings among returning guests. Couple treatments are well set up, with a relaxed, considered room that makes the booking feel like an event rather than a two-table compromise. The nail work here also earns its place, and the small touches - a cold ginger drink, clear guest briefing on what to do and when - sit comfortably at the five-star level.
Pricing is at the top of the Marina bracket, which raises expectations for the whole experience, and service consistency can slip when a less-experienced therapist is assigned or when post-treatment attendance in the thermal areas is light. Where the team is on form, it delivers one of the more thoughtful hotel-spa afternoons in this part of the city; naming a preferred therapist at the time of booking is the easiest way to lock in that outcome.

The masseuse and nail technicians are amazing. So often I’ve been to a spa and been told nothing once I arrive in the room... clothes on? Clothes off? Not here, the staff are helpful, knowledgeable and discreet. The cold ginger drink in offer is rejuvenating. The walk through the hanging lights and running water nearby sets the calm tone of your experience. Not to be missed.

Maria was beyond excellent! Very professional and provided a much needed deep tissue massage - don’t leave this hotel without a massage.

We stayed at InterContinental for New Years and it was a great experience. The property’s location is perfect for those who’d like to stay in the city but not too crowded. Our room had a great view of the Marina. The pool and spa were our fav and highly recommend early morning swim followed by breakfast with amazing view of the Marina. The staff was courteous and very helpful. Overall we had a wonderful time at a great place with amazing food.
