Body Talk Wellness Centre sits inside the Movenpick property in Al Sufouh, functioning as both a hotel guest amenity and a standalone spa destination. The menu leans on Signature massages, the Warm Bamboo Fusion, and couples' treatments, with the couples' suite (private shower, generously sized beds) a particular strength. Standard access to sauna, steam room, gym and the outdoor pool comes with treatment bookings, and a cup of ginger tea to close the session is a nice ritual. On a well-run visit, the experience lands: therapists such as Intan, Margaret, Liezel and Roxene win return visitors for their pressure control and remedial work, and the treatment rooms themselves are well set out. The weak spots are operational - bookings have occasionally been mis-communicated, stocked supplies (disposable underwear, lighting in the steam room) have run thin, and therapist quality is not uniform across the team. Booking ahead, confirming timings, and requesting a specific named therapist where possible is the sensible play.

I would recommend the Signature massage to anyone looking to pamper themselves. It is slightly on the expensive side, but the 2 for 1 offer was well worth it! Me and a cousin booked for the Signature massage, offered by the Body talk wellness center in Movenpick. We were requested to reach 30 mins prior to the appointment, to use the steam bath and sauna.The facilities were good. We were taken into a dimly lit room, with relaxing music and ambience. The treatment room was designed to enhance the spirit of tranquillity and calm.Our Masseuse's were professional ladies who gave us instructions on how to lie on the bed, face down. They were very skilled (one of their names was Roxene) and made sure that the pressure applied was comfortable. I was amazed at the stamina and energy they had. I felt all my muscles loosen up and they did not leave a single part of the body. It ended with a head, neck and shoulder massage and that was bliss. Overall, it was a refreshing and super-relaxing spa massage, which lasted for a full one hour.

Part of the hotels facilities. The changing facilities are nice although there were only 2 showers which can be problematic during busy periods. Towels are provided and you need to grab the key from the spa reception for the lockers. The steam rooms light isn't in working order so was very dark inside I didn't bother with the sauna as I hate dry heat. Both rooms are tiny in size. They have a gym and an outside pool with a bar should you feel like your thirst needs quenching. They also have added little personal touches such as combs, hair dryers (useless) and cotton pads and earbuds etc. The place is clean and does feel quality however little things let it down such as lights not working and number of washroom cubicles.

Thoroughly rubbish experience. Booked a couples massage here for myself and my partner. The massage was for 5pm and we were told to arrive early at 4:30. We thought it was a little early but anyway arrived at 4:40 to be told that our booking was actually at 5:30.. and there was nothing could be done. Obviously annoyed but we waited patiently- as we waited we noticed 2 other clients had arrived at 5 and were told their booking was also not available till later. When the time came to our massage my partner and I both went to the male and female changing rooms respectively, but found that there were not disposable underwear - when we asked for them at the reception we were told they had run out and we should just wear our own underwear for the massage. Very strange and not the kind of service you expect for a 400dhs massage (or any massage to be perfectly honest)! We asked to speak to a manager because at this stage we were upset- but there was no one senior to offer an apology or explanation or relief to the situation. Then came the massage! Both of us in the couples massage equally had one of the worst massages ever- weak strokes, even after several times asking for stronger pressure, no cadence or rhythm to the massage totally random style- for me at several times it get like my masseuse was trailing off in a day dream... a truly bad 60minutes and we were both glad to have the ordeal over and leave. We left and complained over email- and after 5 emails back and forth we were offered a complementary couples massage again- but unfortunately on the second go the massage quality was just as bad for me- although my partner had a male therapist the second time and said the massage was really good! I cannot recommend this place and can say there are so many other places in dubai that offer a better service and massage. Do not subject yourself you a bad experience here. Go elsewhere!
