Description
Swiss Butter is a focused steak-and-fries restaurant in Al Barsha, the Dubai outpost of the Lebanese-born concept that has built its reputation on doing one thing properly: a well-cooked piece of beef with a signature butter sauce and unlimited fries. The interior is warm and casual - timber panelling, soft pendant lighting, dark banquette seating - and the room runs at a brisk but comfortable pace, with turnaround tight enough for a quick dinner but never hurried.
The menu is deliberately short, which is the restaurant's clearest strength. Steak is the singular main: the ribeye arrives tender and properly seared, the filet is precise work, and the surf-and-turf adds grilled seafood for tables wanting a fuller plate. All steaks come with the house secret butter sauce - herbaceous, richly balanced, the defining reason many guests return - and fries that are served generously and refillable without surcharge. A brief salad selection opens the table, and dessert closes with a notably good bread pudding.
Service is warm and efficient. The floor team is practised at the volume the format implies, handles vegetarian and gluten-sensitive requests with genuine care, and keeps timing tight across peak hours. Occasional service lapses have been reported - bread served without butter or knives, misordered plates in larger bookings - but these are exceptions rather than the rule.
Swiss Butter is priced in the mid-range bracket with genuinely strong value given the quality of the steak and the refillable fries format. For a dependable, affordable steak dinner without the premium of a Business Bay or DIFC steakhouse, it is one of the most reliably good bookings in the category. Reservations are worth making for weekend evenings.

The experience was great, food was amazing my first time trying swiss butter. Both chicken and salmon dishes were good, but I prefer chicken dish. Wished if the cutlery is in a bit good condition. But the food was amazing, you must try the molten lava cake. It completes your swiss butter experience
