ItalianVegetarian
Description
Pizza Felice is a small, Italian-run pizzeria set - improbably - inside an ADNOC service station in Al Ain, and the oddity of the address is most of the first impression. Behind the counter, however, is one of the more genuine Italian kitchens in the city, trading in thin-crust pizzas made with imported cheeses and a home-style tiramisu that repeatedly surprises diners expecting a petrol-station takeaway.
The pizzas are the reason to come. The dough is proved and baked to a proper thin, crackly base, and tomatoes, buffalo mozzarella and burrata are flown in fresh rather than approximated. The Burrata is the standout, the Margherita and Quattro Formaggi are reliable baselines, and a mushroom and turkey ham pie rewards a less obvious order. Beyond the pizza, the Felice salad is a fresh starter, Bolognese is generous and properly seasoned, and the lasagna and tiramisu are both worth ordering when in the mood. Pasta dishes can read minimalist, with some add-ons charged separately.
The setting is informal and compact - a few tables next to a pizza counter - with most of the trade going through delivery and takeaway. Service at the counter is courteous and quick when collecting, though delivery has been the weakest link across visits, with driver inconsistency and occasional address mix-ups a recurring caveat. Prices sit above the mall pizzerias, reflecting the imported ingredients, and it is worth confirming payment methods before ordering.
For diners who miss proper Neapolitan-leaning pizza, or travellers between Dubai and Al Ain looking for an unexpected stop, Pizza Felice rewards the small detour. Order it hot, eat it quickly, and judge it by the dough.

Very delicious thin pan pizza's, not as oily as other pizza's around the town. I recommend you to eat it as soon as it's served

Overpriced food. Very bland, oily and under-cooked. Menu seems to be a copy of the PIzza Express. Cutlery and plates are very very dirty. Don't even think of using the glasses on your table. They have rust on them. Review collected in partnership with this restaurant
