Description
The Al Ain branch of Chili's sits on the second floor of Al Jimi Mall, bringing the American casual-dining formula to a city otherwise dominated by hotel restaurants and Arabic grills. It is a reliable, family-first address - unambitious by design, but a useful option when a mixed table needs burgers, fajitas and a kids' menu under one roof.
The kitchen stays closest to the brand's strengths. Burgers are the safest order, with the sweet potato fries a worthwhile upgrade, and the chicken and beef fajitas arrive at the table with the expected skillet-sizzle and full complement of guacamole, salsa and sour cream. Southwestern eggrolls and the bottomless nachos and salads work well for sharing, Cajun pasta and Country Chicken are regular favourites, and the molten chocolate cake closes things on a high. The Tex-Mex leanings are closer to approximation than authenticity, and the menu has been adapted for the region, so travellers expecting a direct mirror of US branches should temper expectations.
Service is generally warm, with a visible manager presence, though pacing and attentiveness can slip when the room is quiet or during busy family weekends - a recurring note worth knowing. The soundtrack is louder than most Al Ain dining rooms, especially when birthday parties are in full swing, making it better suited to a noisy family Friday than a quiet dinner.
Pricing sits on the mid-tier, noticeably friendlier than the city's five-star hotel restaurants, and the atmosphere is casual and welcoming. A classic margarita-style mocktail and the signature desserts are part of the appeal for regulars who treat Chili's as Al Ain's dependable mall dinner.

Friends and i had dinner at this restaurant. It is generally a good family style restaurant with a good selection on the menu. The service was average and the food good. The noise level sometimes is not conducive to having a nice dinner with friends but it is expected when there are a lot of children with birthdays going on. The bottomless nachos were good to share with the table and the salads were made with really fresh ingredients. Will come back for a bite!

We had dinner here and the service was great. Our waiter refilled drinks immediately and food arrived in a timely manner. The food was mediocre. I ordered the fajitas and they didnt have any real flavor and the condiments helped little. I was not very impressed. Chili's in the states is much better, I should have known better.
