Zaytinya is the standout Lebanese restaurant in Al Bawadi Mall, a notch above the usual mall offering thanks to its ambitious plating, rich purple-accented interior and small outdoor pavilion that opens onto the mall's landscaped courtyard. Long-standing regulars speak of it as Al Ain's closest thing to a Dubai-calibre Arabic restaurant, and the kitchen largely earns the comparison.
The opening stretch is the best part of the meal. Hummus - often cited as the finest in the city - mutabbal, muhammara, fattoush, hot flatbreads with za'atar and a well-made lentil soup set a high bar, and house specialities like mujaddara (spiced lentil rice) and hummus topped with shredded chicken round out a confidently plated mezze table. From the grill, shish taouk is soft and carefully charred, and the mixed grill and lamb cutlets are reliable mains; falafel is a textbook order. Seafood and fish are handled with more care than most Arabic restaurants in the city. Soups beyond the lentil are the weakest link, and the occasional aubergine dish has arrived over-charred.
Service is warm and attentive, with a visible manager presence, though staff are noticeably more responsive when guests speak Arabic. Pricing is moderate - good value for the quality - and portions are generous enough to over-order without meaning to.
The outdoor terrace is air-conditioned and pleasant for family dinners, but it functions as the shisha area, so non-smokers should request the interior. It is a reliable pick for a considered Lebanese meal in the city, whether a quick mezze lunch, a family dinner, or a longer evening that stretches into shisha and mint tea on the terrace.

Simply it is my favorite one in al Ain serving the best lebanese food starting by the mezzeh to the real lebanese grill in a fine dining touch plus a wonderful outside seating area where we usual enjoy our Shisha with new different flavors. Zaytinya delivers on everything you want in a restaurant. The decor, although very purple, fits well for the restaurant and creates a nice ambiance around the table. The hummus is the best in Al Ain. Also, the mujaddereh (or mudaderreh depending on where you live) is a delicious rice dish that you can't find everywhere in Al Ain Value Service Food Atmosphere Review collected in partnership with this restaurant
