Flavours is the all-day international restaurant at the Radisson Blu Al Ain, and its main draw is the buffet in all its formats: a full breakfast spread through the week, themed dinner nights, and the poolside Friday barbecue that brings grilled seafood and meats out in front of the diners. The room itself is understated and functional rather than scenic, with a pool-facing aspect that works better at breakfast and in the cooler months. The buffet is the venue's strongest argument. Breakfast runs broad and keeps its pastries, fresh omelettes and live-station items coming reliably, with the chocolate danishes a small standout. Dinner shows more ambition, particularly the South Asian and live-grill stations where chefs Shahjahan and Chavindu are the recurring names diners single out. Selection is solid without being vast, so come for consistency rather than a sprawling global tour. Desserts and salads are handled with more care than is typical at hotel buffets. Service is where Flavours genuinely distinguishes itself. The floor team - Alam, Yasir, Sheila, Jasurbek, Ajith, Ramesh, Shanel and Ritu recur in guest feedback - works the room with a warmth and attentiveness that turns a routine breakfast or buffet dinner into something more personal. Tables are cleared quickly, coffees refreshed without prompting, and special requests (off-menu karak tea, dietary adjustments, occasion cakes) accommodated with evident pride. It is worth noting that on quieter evenings service can lag, and the restaurant rarely feels electric in atmosphere, but for a hotel buffet in Al Ain it is among the better-run rooms in the city.
