71oz Steakhouse is a small, casual grill room tucked into a converted shipping-container courtyard in Ajman, easy to miss from the street but serious about what it does. The dining space is snug and warmly decorated, the kitchen works to order, and the team runs the floor with the familiarity of a neighbourhood spot - returning guests are usually recognised and the service is measurably more engaged than the container setting suggests. Steaks are the reason to come and the reason people travel in from Dubai to try it. T-bone, ribeye and Angus fillet arrive properly rested, aged and reliably cooked to temperature, and the quality of the beef consistently outperforms more prominent steakhouse chains in the area. The supporting menu is short but well chosen: the burger and brisket sandwich are strong secondary options, fried calamari and a quinoa salad are solid starters, and desserts lean into a little theatre, with a grilled pineapple and vanilla ice cream plate and a warm brownie with caramel both repeatedly mentioned. Pricing sits above what the courtyard setting implies, with dinner for two landing in the three hundred dirham range, but expectations adjust quickly once the food arrives. Card and phone payments are accepted, which is a practical plus in the neighbourhood. Approach as a small steak-focused dinner rather than a broad menu restaurant, and it punches well above its address.

An added value to Ajman restaurants map. Sort of a place where you expect to be in a posh area in Dubai or Abu Dhabi. Although the concept of the area is supposed to be for fast food and informal dining but the ambience, decor and menu are certainly fit in to casual dining. Service is good, team is very hospitable and friendly. We ordered 2 T-bone steaks, 1 starter and 2 drinks and they gave us an extra starter as a complimentary. Steaks are very well cooked as requested (medium well), and it was simply delicious. Definitely we will be back to try the burgers. Having said that, it’s way overpriced with the average bill for two person is 200.00 dirhams for dinner in a shipping container in remote area in Ajman city. P.S: Our bill was 360.00 dirhams

I have eaten a more than a few restaurants around this area. Maybe because I’m American and I like steak this little, out of the way, hole in the wall has been by far the best steak I’ve had here since I have arrived. Even went eat at the second best steak house in Dubai and that was a bland piece of meet. This little place had the flavor a Coronas American likes. The service was excellent and very attentive to the tables needs. I’ll will be more than happy to make the trip back their soon.

After several days of eating spicy food in our hotel and nearby restaurants we decided to find some place with european or american cuisine. We found this place here on tripadvisor, there was only one feedback from american guy. I can confirm every word he wrote! Great food, great stuff, great quiet place! We were with 7 month baby, so it was very important for the place to be quiet, and 71oz is the right place for it! Very delicious food, we took two ribeyes, they were just great! After that we took ice cream with fried pineapples, it was very unusual for us but very tasty! In Ajman there are very few places where you can pay with credit card, in this restaurant you can pay even with your phone!! So it is one more advantage). The waiter Shean you are now have my respect) Value Service Food
