The Greek Boys is a small, owner-run taverna on the Ajman seafront offering something genuinely uncommon in the emirate: home-style Greek cooking prepared by Greek chefs. The dining room is tiny and dressed in the familiar blue-and-white palette, and the owner is usually out front himself, greeting guests, checking on the heat level of their gyros, and lingering to chat. That warmth is as much a part of the draw as the food.
The kitchen leans on classics done properly. Gyros platters arrive fragrant with thyme, oregano and lemon, the meat carved generously and paired with cool tzatziki and crisp Greek salad. Calamari is a reliable starter, the halloumi and taramasalata round out a proper mezze spread, and portions across the board are large enough that one platter comfortably feeds two. Prices stay fair for the quality, which makes the place feel more like a neighbourhood find than a tourist stop. A note on seasoning: a handful of dishes can lean salty, so diners sensitive to salt may want to flag it when ordering.
For travellers wandering Ajman's corniche in search of European cooking, The Greek Boys is the most convincing Greek option in town. Come for a quick gyro and ice cream, or settle in for a fuller meal with the owner dropping by between tables. It is unfussy, personal, and distinctly itself.

Delicious food!! We had a takeaway from here and it was out of this world. The portions are a very good size, we may have over ordered but boy we finished the lot! Calamari, halloumi, taramasalata it was all delicious. The owner is a good chap too, he’ll happily come out and spend time chatting to you. Review collected in partnership with this restaurant

We popped into this restaurant for a snack and as we liked the look of the menu, popped in. Once inside, we were greeted warmly and had a good laugh with the owner whilst we ordered our food. We ordered the calamari which was amazing, and finished off with an ice cream. Next time we go out to eat, we will definitely be visiting the greek boys again, well worth a visit. Great food and great entertainment! Value Service Food Review collected in partnership with this restaurant
