Tucked inside the Ajman Saray resort on the Corniche, Safi Steakhouse has quietly evolved from a pan-Asian seafood room into one of the emirate's most assured grill houses. The dining room is spacious and softly lit, with floor-to-ceiling doors that open onto the pool and the beach beyond; the outdoor terrace, weather permitting, is the seat to request, particularly when the live musician is playing and the sea air takes over.
The kitchen's strength is protein cooked with care. The T-bone, ribeye and Wagyu - sourced from Brazil and Argentina - arrive on a hot stone, cooked a touch under so the guest can finish them to taste, and come with proper mashed potatoes, fries or grilled vegetables and a choice of sauces (the bearnaise and green peppercorn are the picks). Lamb chops draw particular praise, and the grilled king prawns and Canadian lobster remain a nod to the restaurant's seafood roots. Asian flourishes still surface on the menu, from a Thai red curry of tiger prawns to the Kung Pao chicken, and the kitchen handles both registers with the same steady hand. A small bread, cheese and olive selection begins the meal, finished by a Baked Alaska that is worth saving room for.
Service is the quiet star. The chef routinely comes out to greet the table, the floor staff are attentive without hovering, and special requests, from gluten-free menus to improvised vegan plates, are handled without fuss. Prices sit at the upper end for Ajman and the wine list carries a resort premium, but the cooking justifies the outlay, and the all-inclusive and brunch packages offer a more relaxed entry point. Safi suits a considered dinner rather than a lively night out: when the resort is quiet the room can feel sparse and under-scored, so couples seeking atmosphere are best served by booking on a weekend or grill night, when the terrace fills and the kitchen hits its full stride.

Ambiance is no. 1 though they dont have much in the buffet but what they have are the best :) ! Specially the Japanese Pancake and salads. Stir Fried beef with veg was nice too and the live station noodles. We visited the place four times and it was consistently great and even the service was really good ! Value Service Food

We had a wok theme dinner and ordinary seafood dinner during our 9 days stay and we are happy to rank both of them as almost perfect. Review collected in partnership with this restaurant

During our stay in Ajman Saray Ressort we had several dinners in Safi. All evenings, the Sushi and the Wok Night, the Far Eastern Buffet or a la carte, the food was prepared always very delicious. Very special thanks to the waiters, the chef and his stuff. All are very friendly and courteously.
