It suits families, couples marking a birthday, and anyone happy to trade the noise of Dubai for a slower coastal evening. The kitchen takes its cue from a daily catch displayed on ice, so guests pick their fish and decide how it should be cooked. The Moroccan-leaning grill is where the restaurant excels: whole hammour and seabass come out blistered and fragrant, grilled tiger shrimp and crab are fresh and generously portioned, and the lobster thermidor has become something of a signature. Seafood rice, crispy fried calamari, a creamy seafood soup, and a basket of fries with assorted dips round out a meal that leans coastal-Mediterranean rather than fussy fine-dining.
