Description
Anwa is the signature dining room at The Palace Beach Resort Fujairah, a beachfront restaurant set directly on the sand with a considered contemporary design that leans more towards Dubai boutique than east-coast resort. The setting alone makes it a destination address on this stretch of the coast - the view of the Gulf is uninterrupted, the open-air terrace catches the evening breeze, and the interior pairs warm lighting with clean lines.
The menu is pan-Asian with a confident hand on Southeast Asian plates. Mamak Mee, Black Pepper Beef, beef ramen and the spring rolls are the standout orders, and the burrata starter with mixed tomatoes is a genuinely well-executed Italian crossover for guests wanting to open the meal on something lighter. Presentation is considered across the menu, and the spice programme delivers what it promises rather than dialling down for resort palates.
Service is a clear strength. The floor team is attentive and warm without being hovering, and long-serving hosts - a kind, Sri Lankan waiter frequently noted by guests - handle pacing and recommendations with genuine care. Prices sit at the upper end of the Al Aqah coast restaurants, which the kitchen and the setting together comfortably justify. For a quietly polished beachfront dinner with a strong pan-Asian menu, Anwa is among the best-considered rooms on this coast.
