Set within the Al Zorah Golf Club pavilion on Al Ittihad Road, The Grove is one of the most architecturally striking restaurants in Ajman - a slate-grey building whose futuristic lines open onto the estuary, with mangrove wetlands stretching directly behind the terrace. The combination of lake, swans, distant fairways and sunsets gives the venue a view that genuinely competes with the best of Dubai, at prices that remain decisively lower.
The kitchen is Emirati and Middle Eastern at its core, with international detours into pizza and pasta for broader appeal. The opening run of the menu is where it does its best work: the trio dips (hummus, muhammara, mutabbal), cheese borek, sujok and mozzarella manakeesh, fried kibbeh, spicy potatoes and freshly baked Arabic bread served hot. Standout mains include the Grove family mixed grill, lamb chops, Kabab Hindi in tomato gravy, Lahmeh Bil Seiniyeh, lamb shank machboos, and a chicken biryani regulars rate among the best in the emirate. The chicken pasta loomi is a divisive citrus-forward dish worth approaching with curiosity rather than expectation. For dessert, the cheese kunafa and the bubbling chocolate brownie are the reliable choices; the saffron milk cake is more variable. Shisha is served on the patio from 5pm, with a broad flavour selection.
The space is designed for families and unhurried evenings, with a supervised kids' play area visible from the dining room, plenty of indoor and outdoor seating, and generous portions that lean toward sharing. Service is generally warm and quick, though pacing can slip on busy weekends and breakfast has a harder time matching the dinner experience. Several guests have described pointedly negative encounters with front-of-house management, and inconsistent handling during peak hours is a recurring theme worth noting.
On balance, The Grove is a serious reason to make the drive to Ajman: a handsome setting, a well-built Emirati menu and prices that still feel fair for the quality. Aim for sunset on the terrace, book ahead on weekends, and build the meal around the cold mezze, grills and the machboos.

If you are in Ajman or visiting Ajman then The Grove at the Al Zorah Golf Club on Al Ittihad Road is a must-visit. The Grove is a Middle Eastern and Emirati Restaurant that serves breakfast, lunch and dinner in a picturesque setting. The view of the mangroves from the restaurant is spectacular and the interiors of the restaurant is classy and welcoming. We tried their juices, cold and hot starters, salads, pizza, pasta and desserts. The quality and the quantity was good. And the pricing was reasonable.

We had a great time at The Grove. The food, the ambience, and the service was amazing. The restaurant is a must visit if you are a fan of Arabic cuisine. Our favorites from the starter were- cheese borek, sujok and mozzarella manakeesh, pizza, and Muhammara hummus. From the mains our favorites were- shish taouk, lamb chops, kebab khashkhash, and lamb shank machboos. What’s more, the breathtaking restaurant also has free kids play area to keep the young ones busy.
